In a world where pop music has become formulaic and predictable, one listen to Grey Revell, and you will know that there still is hope. His fourth album, Kamikaze, filled with eleven well-crafted songs has just been released, and has been described by Grey himself as his finest work yet. And I have to say I agree with him.
Revell knows just when to tear it up on guitar (Love Ain't No Regular Gun), and when to let the vocals and melody steal the show. Whether you like your songs upbeat (I Wonder Why), or a little slower (Shiny Shoes) Revell will have you singing along within a few listens.
I once heard someone say that they could turn on the radio and within a few seconds know if the singer meant what he/she was saying. Well folks, Grey Revell means every bit of it.
