Mr. Scarecrow

What do you think of Mr.
 Scarecrow?

Mr. Scarecrow is the hero
He's the last cowboy
I'll get my revenge on him
He scares me!
Mr. Scarecrow is a weasel

When he was 13 years old, Mr. Scarecrow won a cheap electric guitar in a raffle at his Catholic grade school. His mom said "We can probably get $50 for that," but Mr. Scarecrow had other plans. Now he's an antifolker, having traversed the country from Pennsylvania to San Francisco to Nashville to finally settle in New York, where the antifolkers have made him feel welcome. Mr. Scarecrow has
recorded many a lo-fi production of his work, and is also on "Lach's Antihoot."  His song on that CD, "Bill's Song," was called by the Village Voice "the most beautiful song...ever written about AIDS."  Mr. Scarecrow will be releasing his next cd "The Last Cowboy" sometime this summer.
