Have you heard about DUETS WITH DENI? It is a new, weekly music performance TV show, showcasing the best in emerging songwriting and performing talent from New York and around the world. Produced and hosted by New York-based singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist, Deni Bonet, the show is part "Sessions at West 54th" and part "Wayne's World". Filmed in Deni's West Village apartment, Deni and her guest play and sing each other's original songs. Each show will end with a cover of a well-known classic from sources as diverse and eclectic as Aerosmith, Willy Wonka, Kylie Minogue, and Frank & Nancy Sinatra, re-worked into an unpredictable but highly entertaining duet format. Between songs, they discuss everything under the sun.
Tune in at 12.30 am on Friday night/Saturday morning to Manhattan Neighborhood Network (MNN) in Manhattan only. The channel will be different depending where you live and which cable company you have. For those of you who live outside of Manhattan, the show is also streamed live on the Internet at: www.mnn.org (Channel 56) and at a more reasonable hour the following week at: www.denibonet.com. DUETS WITH DENI conveniently scheduled for those who are returning home after visiting their favorite NYC music venues.
Just this last week Lach was Deni's featured guest. If you can't catch the show buy Deni's CD "Bigger is always better" You will be glad you did. |
