With her warm, sensual voice, sweetly finger-picked guitar playing and rich imagery, Robin's music lulls you in, holds your attention and takes you a long way from home. Is it hypnotism? Some kinda folk magic? Whatever it is, it sure works.

Her songs, while partly grounded in that old-timey, classic folk tradition, also offer something completely unique, modern, personal and always compelling. She lives in the ever-eclectic borough of Brooklyn and has made a name for herself as one of the city's most engaging singer/songwriters.

A former member of Steeplechase, Robin sets out on her own in 2003, releasing her debut LP, Volksinger, soothing the savage barfly with songs that pay homage to lost cowboys, cryin' outlaws and lonely troubadours.
