Major MATT and Nan have let loose!  Growling guitar, well crafted lyrics and rocking drums propel Shwervon to a great new level.  From the first track, Bad Music, Shwervon introduces an album of texture.. Sometimes this texture is heard courtesy of Nan and Matt's vocal delivery, sometimes talking sometimes singing or both overlapping.  This style gives a very relaxed feel as if the words are pouring out for the first time unchecked and emotional. Slight cracks in voices and hush tones make it warm and inviting to the listener. Other textures shine courtesy of the guitar sounds achieved by Major Matt.  This album seems to have more raw and effects peppered sounds than heard on "Quick Frozen Small Yellow Cracker".  The guitar style as well the production is reminiscent of the  Pixies.  The quality of the performance and production are evident throughout the album, I can't sight a song where it stands out more or
less.

The drumming on Poseur rides a fine line between loose abandon and very well thought out precision.  Again Nan creates the feel of playing the songs for the first time , then she nails the downbeats at just the right time with great intensity.  The dynamics of the drums on Poseur are right on and flattering to the rest of the music.n

Poseur is an album that will reveal itself more and more with every listen.
