Good, Bad, or Indifferent: Antifolk as a genre?
Alessio: Good. Maybe I don't even know what Antifolk is,
anyway when I listen most of antifolk artists I like their
approach to music. I like to feel something real like the air
I breathe. I like when people has got something to say and
nothing to sell.
Good, Bad, or Indifferent: The first concert you went to?
Alessio: Good. It was the fifth of may 1987 there were
Neil Young & Crazy Horse on stage in Milan. They hit my
brain and changed my life with two hours of music thru
emotions and anger. When I saw that show I was 12 year
old. I used to live in a small village near the lake Garda and
it was the first time in my life I saw ten tousand people
moving and singing togheter. I will never forget it
Good, Bad, or Indifferent: the use of Tuba's in songs?
Alessio: Indifferent. For true I don't know how to play
tuba. Anyway I think every instruments can be used in a song. The result depends only on how you use it. It's possible to use a guitar very badly and on the other side it's possible to achieve a great effect from a glass crashed on the ground.
Good, Bad, or Indifferent: Italian food?
Alessio: Good. The only food i can live with. I mean italian food you eat in Italy of course. I'm sorry for the people all over the world but it's very hard to find real italian food abroad even in italian restaurants. Anyway I gotta say that there are many different food in Italy. In south you can eat thigs that you can't eat in the north. The only thing that every italian always eat is SPAGHETTI
Good Bad, or Indifferent: Girls of the 21st century?
Alessio: Bad. It's not a good thing to generalize, I know a lot of great girls stronger and smarter than me. But from what I see the majority got new woderful sexy dresses, they always use make-up and look better and better everyday. Remember only not to talk about something serious and everything will be alright
Good, Bad, or Indifferent: Boys of the 21st century?
Alessio: Bad. They live to drive fast cars buy big houses and to kill the planet. They don't care when our governments kill tousand and tousand of people all around the world, but get very angry when an homeless man stole one single dollar. Then the best thing is that they always know wich is the right thing to do. they're simply perfect.
Good, Bad, or Indifferent: Playing in front of crowds?
Alessio: Good and bad: If crowds is interested in music and human beings I'm infinitely happy to share every single neutron of me on stage. On the other side if crowds wants only entertainment I know it's not my job, I would like to be somewhere else.
Good, Bad, or Indifferent: The first song you wrote?
Alessio: Bad. I was too young. About twelve, and the worst thing was that i wasn't Mozart. It wasn't a song at all. I think that I just needed to learn more.
Good, Bad, or Indifferent: Party people?
Alessio: Indifferent. In a party I can meet a lot of interesting people, I can feed my mind in many ways, but in the end I must remember that in a party I can also waste a lot of time.
Good, Bad, or Indifferent: the music scene in your town?
Alessio: Bad. There isn't a music scene in my town, Only few people trying to make music and a lot of musician tryng to sell hamburgers. Music in Italy is not considered as an art anymore. It's just a buisness, even if you play in your garage. We need more antifolk to rock the kids out.
